Time Source. From sources to artwork, from artwork to sources, MAXXI — Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo, June 2023 – January 2024, curated by MAXXI Arte Archive Centre. The exhibition is conceived as the incipit of the collection. It shows, as the title suggests, the entire journey of the works from their conception to their re-enactment over time, up to their publication on printed matter as books and catalogues. Ten artists, fourteen works on display: Rosa Barba, Gianfranco Baruchello, Alex Cecchetti, Francesca Grilli, Jannis Kounellis, Fabio Mauri, Luca Patella, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Pedro Reyes, Marinella Senatore.
