C’è tempo per le nespole [There is time for medlars] is a book, a project, which includes many projects, a reflection about the First World War and other related themes. It is conceived / curated by the ICCD — Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo e la Documentazione and published by Danilo Montanari Editore. The idea of this book was born more than two years ago as part of the Rimembranze project; but due to the pandemic situation, it get slower or even stopped for a long time.
The project started in 2019 with a workshop hosted by Marcello Cualbu – Progetto Borca. The curators of the workshop, Alessandro Coco, Francesca Fabiani and Peter Lang, together with seven artists / photographers, Fabrizio Bellomo, Riccardo Cecchetti, Claudio Gobbi, Stefano Graziani, Alessandro Imbriaco, Taiyo Onorato & Nico Krebs, Moira Ricci met in the hearth of the Alps to research and discuss about their visions about the project.
The book shows the results of the work of many authors. It has within it various artistic / photographic projects, essays, anthology parts, archival photographies, research projects. Each section is different, with any type of material.
