In September 2017, we were called by Roberto Bianchi, an architect and Professor, to develop the graphic design for Architecture Design Technology book series. The main idea of the series is to gather some architectural drawings organizing them in specifics themes; a sort of compendium for architecture’s students. Starting from the idea to create low-cost books, we decided, according with the curators and with the editor, to use an UNI A4 format and one color print to design the entire series. Every book is divided in three parts: an introduction about the main theme, an essay by the author and last, but not least, a collections of architectural details, organized about the construction’s material.
The first book of the series is Low Cost Building. Design strategies and technological solutions for architecture with an introduction by Spartaco Paris and essay text by Roberto Bianchi.
