Territori della performance: percorsi e pratiche in Italia (1967–1982), MAXXI – Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo, October 2022 – June 2023, curated by Lara Conte, Francesca Gallo. The exhibition provides a mapping of the ephemeral artistic practices in Italy in the period between 1967 and 1982. The word territories contained in the title has a double meaning: on the one hand it defines the geographical connotation, on the other the space in which it took place the performance. These spaces are organized into four cathegories and chromatic areas: the artist’s studio and domestic spaces; the galleries; alternative and informal places; and institutions, like museums and large events.
